At two in the morning, she decided for the plunge. Water got caught in her lungs as soon as she frantically wallowed through the sea for air. The liquid surrounding her weak self felt cool against her skin. The lower surface was closing in on her, gravity helping in the dirty work as well. She didn’t need a lifesaver.
